BMAC is a student-run committee of biology majors who advise the Department on its curriculum and related matters, as well as sponsoring a variety of social and biology-related activities. Members of the committee also advise potential majors and incoming first year students on course selections. The organization of the committee is overseen by a faculty advisor, but the operation of the committee is entirely in the hands of the biology majors themselves.
Examples of BMAC’s events include:
- Weekly Meetings
- Involvement in the hiring of new faculty
- Biology major socials
- Conversations with Biology faculty
